It's one thing to call those good, because they most certainly are. It's another to say that because they are good, other well known and well liked games are not or are the pleasure of fags, by way of some kind of convoluted hipster logic that hates things the majority of people like. There is no quota on quality.

I enjoyed click and point games like Shadowgate (Awesome gameover music, btw), Deja Vu, and Uninvited (haven't actually played that one, but I certainly will if I can get it working properly on an emulator), but the problem I had with them was that once you beat them, there wasn't a lot of replayability. It wasn't really the same experience playing it through a second time. Blaster Master was fun but it could have really used a password system (like a lot of games back then).

Dragon Warrior is that RPG where you had to level grind for an hour or three every time you wanted to cross a bridge, and had the really annoying battle music.

And Codiekitty's list has reminded me that I neglected Bionic Commando. I am utterly filled with shame. Who else thinks it's first level's music is the most underrated peice of video game music of all time? I dare say it's even better than Zelda or Mario's theme. I mean, shit, people jizz themselves over One Winged angel, but Bionic Commando's triumph of modern music goes neglected all these years? At least the remake was playing an awesome updated version of it in the trailer I saw.
