okay, so there's this really cool program called openCanvas, and I've started playing around with it! It has networking ability and a few layers for each person. Give my a buzz on AIM to get the program if you can't find it. It's a simple .exe file called oC11b72.exe

wacoms are cheap now. $100 for a bamboo wacom. I use one of those. they're not "cheap" feeling or anything. they most closely replicate the feeling of using pencil and paper out of every wacom i've tried.

Well, i've been eyeballin' them wacoms for a while now (three or four years), and i recently bought a widescreen monitor, and i'm going to buy a whole new PC this month. I'm probably going to save some money for a 6x11 intuos wacom, but they cost like 400 bucks a pop.

but it doesn't actually. You can't affect the drawing on the other people's layers. You can only affect what it looks like on the screen, and as long as you stop clicking things when i tell you to, it's all okay!

this is actually the second full thing I did in oC...I was inking a picture I made (with a pencil and paper and scanned) that I wanted to practice on...this is the oC result, which I am far happier with than the photoshop version...
