I saw this just this past Friday, while I was at SXSW. This movie is pretty awesome. Basically, a Michael Jackson impersonator meets a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, and Marilyn invites Jacko to live with her family at a commune full of impersonators. A dual subplot involves
Sobriety seems to have paid off for Mr. Korine. It's more reflective and less sensationalistic than his previous movies.
Best line? "I'M ABE FUCKING LINCOLN!!!"
And the worst part of the screening? Realizing I was in the same theater as Steve Buschemi only after I went to another screening. STEVE BUSCHEMI!!! Can you believe it?
