Whenever one wakes up with a hangover, there is only one true solution:

Drink moar.

If I've got a really nasty hangover I usually do the following things: have a shower, eat a good (preferably fried) breakfast and knock back a few Nurofen/pro-plus tablets.

The combination of these things seems to do the trick nine times out of ten. Though sometimes the only thing you can do is just give up on any plans which you may have had for today and spend the day in bed watching TV.

i always try to drink some water before i go to sleep, that way you can get started filtering the crud out while you sleep instead of letting it lie for eight hours

admittedly this is no help NOW, but hey that's all i got :(

I usually take Excedrin or even just plain aspirin prior to beginning the night's festivities, or even while drinking. Probably not good for the liver, but it helps with the "morning after". Better living through chemistry!

Maybe this will help you out next time ... :-(

Yeah drinking lots of water with a pain reliever before you go to bed would help greatly.

Of course when you're 15, you're not gonna know how to handle your booze anyways.

Man I can handle. But it was a family get together and I had to make it more bearable! XD Seriously, though its rude to say no to people getting you them though right?
Kidding aside, I do take care. Mainly the fact thats its Easter and I had an choc egg for breakfast is the cause.
Am feeling better now :)

Some great tips here that I'll definetely bear in mind, one of my friends suggests milk. Just picture, you're nauseous with a burning throat - and you drink milk!! :x
Can you get kebabs/do you have chippys (chipshops) in the US?
[have always wondered]
We have a saying: Kebab = soak it up or throw it up.
Can really only go either way.:lol

I've started drinking as much water as I can handle before going to bed after a night of drinking. The downside is that waking up to piss and stumbling out of bed is no fun when you feel like an invalid.

Salsa and cigarettes are a cure all. Dr. Bactine can confirm.

You said you were learning German in school, I'm assuming you're still quite young since most people start learning languages in high school.

I'm better than psychic, I'm logical...sometimes.

Ok, I get that.
I prefer the psychic theory, don't blow your cover and all that jazz :)

just eat before you drink, drink plenty of water, don't drink beer before liquor, and take ibuprofin after you eat before you drink, before you go to bed (if you ate a snack) or after breakfast

2000 mg of vitamin c never hurt anyone either :0 best in tablet form

No ones answered my Q.
Can you get chippys in the USA?
Please put me out of my misery/ just allevaite my slight barely noticable curiosity.
"Caith" - you seem very knowledgable in the way of hangovers. :) You have a good method.

Actually just drink cranberry juice when you wake up. Fried food helps a lot but try a glass or two of cran-raspberry juice in the morning. It's gotten me to work in time more than anything else.
