"In a world where apes evolved from MEN!"
All I can think of saying is, Good. Finally this nutjob kicked off and we can have a bit of respite from NRA insanity for a while.

He was a fun actor to watch on screen. One of my favorite films as a child was this old submarine flick from 1978 called Gray Lady Down (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077629/) (which also starred David Carradine) and I'd still recommend it to just about anybody. And, of course, I always loved his hysterically emotional acting recollections in Wayne's World...
Gordon Street? Ah, yes, Gordon Street. I once knew a girl who lived on Gordon Street. Long time ago, when I was a young man. Not a day passes I don't think her and the promise that I made which I will always keep. That one perfect day on Gordon Street. That's uh, five blocks up, two over.

El Blanco did it first :(
And I wouldn't give credit to that prick if it weren't necessary :(
I'll only call him a prick here because he doesn't know about General Blabber :(

I liked him as long as he wasn't overtly political. When he went all batshit crazy for the NRA, then he lost all credibility to me, which I'm sure mattered a lot to him. :\
His best movie in my humble opinion was "The Omega Man" - if you haven't seen it, please read Max's movie review in the weeklies archives. In his prime, Heston could out-badass Stallone, Willis and Schwarzenegger with both his hands and feet tied.

Damned dirty apes?
He was an alright fella in my books. Not that he did anything in recent times, but still...

I was really upset when I heard this. I loved Ben-Hur and Wayne's World.
