Got any films you're especially looking forward to in the near future?
I just saw the trailer for The Outpost (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEI-v5pdivA), and it's my new most anticipated film. Nazi zombies... mercenaries... don't think it gets much better than that.
Also Doomsday (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feELmdZUrTs) looks like fun.

Outpost looks pretty good. I'm still waiting for Poultrygeist to be released on DVD.

I want to see Doomsday. Wanna see The Incredible Hulk.
Also, Kevin Eastman has just announced the new Heavy Metal movie, directed by David Fincher and distributed by Paramount.
Hell yes.

I just saw Outpost and Doomsday this past week. Both were pretty good. Outpost was the lesser of the two - only due to the fact that Doomsday was pretty much a tribute to every 80's post-nuclear civilization B-movie.
I am so done with Heavy Metal, the last one blew so bad that it actually tainted the original for me.

I know the last blew something awful. But I have my hopes.
The magazine is still there, even if the movie sucks.

Thank god I never watched the last heavy metal! I sorta missed it , and everyone says how lucky i am. I missed Rocky 5 too (&Balboa).
Mummy 3 has Jet Li & Yeti- that'll probally sucker me with all the comic flicks and Indy. and Quantum of Solace.

The HM Mags are always awesome, I stopped picking them up years ago. From what I understand, the newer ones are not as good as the older 80's stuff, but still far beyond most other illustrated forms of entertainment. Watched Zombie Strippers last night. Super lame...

Not necessarily near future per se, but the Arrested Development (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0901469) movie is this first I can remember looking forward to in a long time. :o

Please post this in the Spiderman 4 thread, but I could see this in Spidey 5? What say you, Kybo?

Boondock Saints was an outstanding movie. While not demanding a sequel, it would be the shit if done right. But the fans of the movie who DEMAND a sequel tend to be the biggest fucktards around. This Italian fatboy is all "I hate the Irish", next fucking day he's sportin a Saints tee with the prayer on the back! I threw a potato at the bastard, so he buys an "authentic" irish derby, like that'll make ok with it.<same fatboy was all "Daniel Craig Casino Royale, best bond ever. EVER!" so i ask "ok then, what was your favorite Connery Bond?" "I don't know, never seen one with Connery. His best movie was Finding Forrester" douchebag>
Will Smith must monopolize on all movie trends(i,robot2 & i am legend2 COMING SOON!)gonna watch handoncock, just won't pay for it! (that trash-whore jada gets NONE of my money)
as a David Cross fan, I'm all for an Arrested Development movie, but I heard it got shot down.
I'm on my way to the spiderthread now!

Tadao you used to be funny, what happened? now all you do is speculate on what people think when they talk smack on the fresh prince and that parasite he sticks his dick in.

I found out they're making a Donnie Darko sequel. Not looking forward to it.
I am looking forward to the new Incredible Hulk movie. I just hate all the hulking amount of merchandise they throw at you though.

I'm really pissed that Wesley Snipes getting jailed is gonna fuck up Gallowwalker
I don't care how bad it's inevitably going to be, that movie was geared specifically towards my hardcore horror/western/wesley snipes fan demographic, of which there are few enough members, dammit

What is funny that you think a new fast and the furious will be good. Didn't all the previous abortions make a bad impression on you?

Ugh, I just found out someone is making Jurrasic Park IV. Except this time they're training an elite team of highly trained professional DINOSAURS for a merc squad. Bad times are rolling out left and right.

Jurrasic park 4 supposed to have laura Dern. I'm still shocked Sam Neill did 3. still couldn't be cornier than some of those toys!

And I was all hyped on a Wolverine movie, but now i'm disgusted & stupified with every new news.
Go Ryan Reynolds Deadpool! Burn in hell Liev Shreiber.

I've got a sliver of hope left for Wolverine, but have you fucking seen the mess they are making of Dragonball? I'm not even a Dragonball fan, and I know they're fucking that up. I'm also kind of looking forward to G.I. Joe, but that'll probably be a god damn mess too.
Kybo Ren
May 28th, 2008, 05:27 PM
My hope for Wolverine dwindles-like the actor they got for Blob, but he'd be better elsewhere and what is Blob doing in WeaponX program? and pg13? I WANT LIMB LOSS!!
That old Dragonall movie was funny like the corman Fantastic Four
High point on GI Joe was Ray Park as Snakeeyes. Low point- the photos. Stephen Sommers Fucked up Frankenstein's monster, and now he's gonna ruin Joe.
