I'M HALF WAY THROUGH IT AND IT IS AN EPIC MASTERPIECE OF EPIC MASTERY

Hopefully it won't go to hell now that the main antagonist is dead, like Death Note did. I hear this is the part of the show where they start destroying entire galaxies and crusing space-time to kill the bad guys, so I can only assume it will get a million times more awesome from here.

The show is awesome. The english dub is actually coming to the Sci-Fi channel July 28th, so those who hate reading their television shows can get their drill on then.

The second half of the show (the time skip) starts off kinda meh. Shit goes to hell until episode 21 or so, then it starts to get totally and utterly outrageous. Like, they throw spiral galaxies like frisbees and shit. Ending could be better, but overall it's really epic and the animation starts to kick it into high gear at the end (40% of the budget went into the last few episodes).

If you're into whacked out action, manly monologues, and shit that doesn't need to make sense, you'll dig it. Last anime series that's been worth watching.

At the end of the series, she wears the most pointless space outfit ever, and Kittan makes this face that looks like Beaker from the muppets.

Easily the most useless character in the entire fucking show next to Nia. Thankfully Yoko tries to shoot Nia in the head on two separate occasions. If only the bitch had better aim...
The real reason to watch it for Kamina and Kittan, not anime sluts.

Yoko is a walking pair of tits. Kittan does the impossible, does the unthinkable, rows, rows, and fights da powah. And Kamina is just manly. You do not watch TTGL for the tits. You watch it for the testosterone-fueled combat and dialog.

Which reminds me, the soundtrack to this show is awesome. I've got the OST and singles for the Opening and Ending themes. Libra Me From Hell is epic.

Also worth noting; the DS game isn't terrible. Probably only a C at best, but it follows the entire show, and supposedly the last level is beaten by yelling into the mic, which is the only reason I'm playing through the 'meh' battles. All 400+ battles.
