Hollywood killed another great comic book series (Wanted)

Why does the movie have absolutely nothing to do with the comic it was supposedly based off of??

In the comic, Wesley Gibbons is pulled into a secret society of super villains that run the world. They killed all the super heroes in 1986, and completely erased their existence. Now, they can kill, rape, and steal anything they want. Wesley's father was the legendary super villain "The Killer" and was shot down. Wesley must done his father's costume and become a super villain. He is trained by a black chick and a crazy time traveling scientist. Also, there is a radioactive condom.

In the new movie, Wesley Gibson (they even fucked up his name) works for a group of assassins who protect the world. He is trained by a white chick and a black guy.

HOW THE FUCK DO THEY FUCK UP A PLOT THAT FUCKING BADLY??!!!

Seriously, why couldn't they get someone like Halle(whatever the fuck her name is) Berry to play Wesley's girlfriend/teacher anyways? In the comic book she looks exactly like Halle Berry, so it would be easy to give her the part.

I never read the comic or even knew there was one. I just know this movie looks like crap. My guess is its going to be another CG fest of over the top impossibilities in between shot of her looking "sexy", if you can call it that anymore, totally devoid of any substance.

I actually saw the preview and I thought it might be worth seeing, like it might be good. It's hard to tell sometimes from the previews though.
