It would be awesome if he'd review "HOUSE"...my god what an atrocity of a horror/comedy film thats not even funny nor scary!:squigly

Only 2 good parts were the bathroom mirror & Big Ben...

He should do competitions were instead of winning a prize you get to choose a film to be reviewed... like they do on Filmspotting.

I think Mister Barr should put more effort into making a movie rather than stalling with these reviews.

We usually review newer, more popular movies in the Weeklies (http://www.i-mockery.com/weeklies) section of the site. As for my big feature articles, yeah, I generally like to review movies that are a bit more obscure, or I simply don't think they got enough credit. I have a huge list of suggestions that I've received via email over the years, along with some of my own choices, but I'm always happy to take more... so by all means, feel free to post 'em in this thread.

Pub, I'll be happy to make a movie, just hook up me with a real investor who believes enough in my vision of what the perfect horror/comedy movie would be. :O

But.. but.. we are those real investors who believe in your vision :tear

Haha yeah, if there were more of you, we'd be in great shape to make a movie. I was able to buy a pretty good camera to film some stuff (Sony VX-2000), but that's about it. Hey, I could film some home movies for you guys! Sound good?

Big Mama's house 1 and 2

I watched those back to back for the first time the other day, and was gonna round it out with Norbit- but just couldn't make it.

ROG- why don't you only review movies that are mailed to you- it will boost your collection and narrow down your choices for you. Probally get a lot of home porn though.

Kyobo Ren, I actually have a huge collection of movies, many of them unopened still because I simply don't have enough time to watch and review 'em all. Those big features I do can often take 2 weeks or more at times to complete. But yeah, when people send me movies, I always try to do some kind of write-up about 'em, whether it's a full feature, a post in the Weeklies section or in the Blog.

If I donate 20 dollars can I get a special movie?
Heheh, depends on what kind of a movie you're asking for. Maybe once a month I can do some ultra-cheap, low budget, 5-10 minute short films for you guys based on story suggestions I receive.

Tadao

I just sent 20 dollars. I would like to see something with bunnies.

Tadao
Jul 11th, 2008, 09:48 PM
Fake, real, toy, colored in pieces of paper. Shit it could be an invisible bunny. I don't care.

Damn, that was fast. Ok, something with bunnies... I've got an idea already. This should be a fun lil' project. Thanks for the donation btw :picklehat

Fathom Zero

Why would you need a review of a movie you've already seen?

Mockery
Jul 13th, 2008, 01:59 PM
Rent? I own "The Stuff" - as it is a required viewing for any fans of cheesy horror/comedy flicks.

Ozzman313
Jul 14th, 2008, 10:34 AM
Then you need to reveiw it :)

I'd love to hear your thoughts on it

Ditto.

One of my favorite t-shirts is a 'The Stuff' logo with 'Are you eating it or is it eating you?' tagline.

Best bit of the film? The screaming commandos, of course.

This is neither here nor there, but I finally got Children of the Corn on DVD the other day, and now I wanna find the guy who played Isaac and push him around until he screams at me to stop.

Ugh, I didn't know they made a sequel to that. I made my friend watch that, after it he got up and punched me in the chest. I have to go find part 2 now.
