Vashti Bunyan is fucking awesome, and has an fascinating backstory to boot.

She was signed with The Rolling Stones' manager in the '60s (the period in which this particular song was recorded), then dropped. She recorded an album, then slipped into obscurity for 30 years, until "freak folk" peeps like Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom rediscovered her. She released a new album a few years ago, and is working on another one, I think.

One time, I saw the Moody Blues front row. We were smoking buds and the keyboardist pointed at us to a roadie. Lol. After the show, the roadie asked us if we had buds, but we smoked it all. No backstage for us :tear
