Since there are no decent game music tab sites on the Internet, I've taken it upon myself to start one. It will go live in a few weeks once I have enough material to make it worthwhile. So far, I've tabbed 59 tracks, including the following:

Entire soundtracks
------------
Castlevania 1 and 2
Super Mario Bros.
Punch-Out!!
Zelda 1 and 2
Blaster Master (except the ending and boss battles)
Mega Man

Selections from...
------------
Rygar
Mega Man 5
Contra
Wizards and Warriors

I've got a lot left to do; do any guitarists out there have requests so I can decide what to do next?

And PM me if you want a copy of the tabs I've already done.

Hm...I've always wanted to hear someone do a guitar rendition of the Moon Theme from Ducktales. There's one by The Advantage, but I sure would like another. :(

THAT or Bermuda from Ducktales 2. I love me Ducktales.

I really want to hear Bubble Mans and Air Mans Music from Mega Man 2 :)

Dozens of people have done hard rock versions of Bubble Man. Look it up.

And oh yeah..I'll get around to doing a bunch of recordings someday. Working in a studio has its benefits, namely access to professional equipment without paying for it or having another tech looking over your shoulder. :)

Cool deal Perndog, looking forward to checking out those tabs. I'll probably try a few of 'em out... even though I haven't used guitar tabs in ages.

I'll do bass tabs and harmony parts too as long as I've already done the lead part for a tune. So make with the requests.

Tabs are real easy. :( It just goes by what fret it is. Under each fret is a number, and whatever number it is, play that fret. :(

Minibosses are great. And they don't really have an agent or anything, so they'll play anywhere just for the money it takes to send them there.

Pern: tab the shadow of the beast theme (not a nes game, but still some of the greatest video game music ever). Obviously the amiga version. Or next best Genesis version.

Good idea btw. I could tab for you if you ever need help also.

How about some songs from Ocarina of Time, and maybe Harvest Moon?
