Lawyers don't have specialties, they have jobs in fields and can switch at any time. You have to know all basic fields to pass the Bar.

Next comes the Bar. :maul Looking forward to it. For the first time ever I will only be concentrating on accomplishing one thing.

My point is when 'all the usual suspects' get 'rounded up' shortly after the next 'election' and you get a 'call' from m,y 'wife', will you try to find out what the hell happened to me?

Well given the 'election' will be right around when i'm receiving my 'bar results' and hopefully will have 'passed' and be a full fledged 'attorney', and hoping I have a 'job' which permits me to give 'legal advice' outside of those whom i'm assigned to (If I'm working for the PD you would have to commit a crime in LA county and be indigent and get the luck of the lotto to get me, otherwise no) then yes.

well i've been a card carrying aclu member since college, but right now i think any job would be the money route for me...I'm so fucking broke. Barrista or food server could be a money route for me right now.

Cool. Just remember: if you're losing a case, just accuse the other guy of being a bigot. It's an old Fieger/Cochran trick that I still use to get out of parking tickets.

Yay that's so cool. I just got my cap and gown today too! I'm going to glue things on the cap, I just don't know what as of now.
