hOw come people never seem to phone me that where my good friends but when I get the nerve to call them or e-mail them they act like nothing has changed and are so happy to hear from me and send e-mails and phone for a while and then it fades away and it leaves me with the uncomfortable position of calling them back :/ I hate making new friends and most of the time I hate there guts after a while when I find out that there shallow cunts that should die a painful death :)

I know what you're talking about. You want to call, but you feel like if you do it too much then they might think you're a stalker. Such bullshit, fuck those people, fuck them right in their shaft. :suicide

That's when you invite them over, then delete the ladder going into your swimming pool.

Every guy needs a hideout for them "drop by's" theres nothing more uncomfortable than trying to act "proper" in front of the girlfriend/wife/kids. like a basement room, garage, or private den where us guys can be the age we actualy are (and will be for the rest of our lives, lets be honest) 17...... >:

-I love having friends where you are both busy, and quite slack at keeping in touch, but when you do its the same as it always was, and you can just pick up where you left off. I have lots of friends like that, and its cool, you never have to feel guilty cos you are as bad as each other in keeping in touch.

Just as Dole said.
Life gets busy and hectic for many people and even though this goes on, it doesn't mean that they don't think about you and wonder what your doing and how your getting along. Many of them might be in your shoes, Farty where they just *don't* call as they have no idea how to just pick up where everybody left off.
I love it when my friends and I can just pick up where we left off. Our lives are extremely hectic but it doesn't mean we don't think of each other and want to regroup with each other once we have a lull in our schedules.
And if they are *really* your friends Farty, they won't think your stalking them. :) Maybe you need to process where your thinking that they would even consider such a notion. If they were to do it with you, would YOU think of it as "stalking?"

Guys are like that. I've run into guys that I haven't talked to since high school and, when we got to talking, it was like hardly any time had passed. On the other hand, when most women lose contact with a girlfriend for any more than a couple days, conspiracy theories abound as to why the little bitch is avoiding talking to her.

I can't help cause I can't relate to the concept of "friendship" anymore. I wouldn't know what to do with them if some of the "friends" I used to have happened to phone me on that behalf. Probably just hang up the phone on them in disgust.

I Liked the replies and I understand most of the reasons that people just loose contact with people and even I'm guilty of not calling back some people that I honestly liked but certain things like, personal problems (ie: drugs and doing bad things or possible impregnation that I might have been responsible for :lol ) would give me pause to call them but I can't help but feel bummed and miss some good friends :)

Sometimes if feel like that, also. and as previously mentioned, the irony would be that i would feel great if my friends called me a lot more. Although i don't have a lot of friends and they don't call all the time, we still have fun
