turns out you can get into comicon for $ 30.00 at the door.
The springwood slasher figure was $15.00. so I paid $45.00
I figure it's a fair trade-off considering the obscene price for most items at the con. The pricing I thought most obscene was the booth where my cousin bought her LOTR crap. I was looking for a victim for freddy and asked how much an "accessory" pack from the mouth of madness series was. The answer I got was $30.00. The guy running the booth then handed me a clip board, which showed prices for various items. as I looked around, matching items for price I was astounded. an austin powers figure for $75.00 ? buffy was $100.00 and spike was $150.00, marked down from the clip board price by a full $100.00
If you're in San diego for comicon skip it, there are better ways to blow cash in San diego.
almost every item at the con was in the KB toyworks in a local mall.

Comicons are always horribly expensive. Sadly the only time I had the cash to hit it big time I couldn't get the time off of work. Lousy jobs.
