I don't know, I saw it with the 'rents and my older sister, and everyone was laughing pretty hard. The previews on MTV don't do it justice.

Don't contradict ArrowX, he knows what he's talking about. >:

What the hell is this movie about, anyway? I keep hearing kudos but no plot summaries or whatnot. So far it looks like Kevin from Repo Man in that Troma movie where the guy goes to find his father after a woman makes him smell her underwear.

:lol Well, I can see how you would get that impression, but really it's just a run-of-the-mill, nerdy guy getting through high school kind of thing with a good (non-cliche) script. And to think a couple of kids from Brigham Young University wrote it.

(non-cliche) script.

Saying completely random things is hilarious in movies. I reccomend Pootie Tang click.

I saw this and liked it. But yeah, theres almost no plot. It's like Richard Linklater's Slacker except it stays on the same people and locations.

Or no, it feels like when they take a failed TV show, and they edit the only 7 episodes ever made into a movie.

It was funny, but all the humor was pretty much in the performances and cheesy set costumes/set designs. But it's very silly and I pretty much laughed through the whole movie. I saw it with my mother while we were out of town, and she loved it. She laughed as much as I did and said it was "really cute." Which it is.

and deb is so hawt it makes me crazy

Me and ninjavenom went to go see and and it was funny as hell. It made no sense at all and the movie had no story MTV did somthing right . the weirdest thing about the movie is what is the timeframe half the people dress like theyre from the 70's and deb dresses like shes from the 80's.

deb: whats that
napolen: its a liger its basicaly my favorite animal its a lion and a tiger mixed together its perferred skills are magic

That liger line is Utah humor. There was a famous liger at hogle zoo in salt lake city named shasta. Devoid of magic powers, unfortunately.

I JUST SAW THE MOVIE! It's hilarious to watch. Like most eveyone said, there's no real story to it. And the scenes dont really flow together as a movie.. they're just kinda stuck there right after the other. But it works.

I laughed the whole time.. except when Trisha stood up Napoleon at the dance then I got real sad. :(
