I remember this one Tom & Jerry episode, where Jerry gets pissed off at Tom and decides to move out. Tom tries to stop Jerry by PUTTING A GUN TO HIS OWN HEAD, HITTING HIMSELF WITH A HAMMER AND PUTTING A FUCKING BOMB TO HIS MOUTH! But Jerry leaves anyway and Tom becomes an alcoholic. :lol
the name of the episode was astro mouse or something like that.
edit: The name of the episode was mouse into space and you can get it here http://www.usenetbinaries.com/groups/alt.binaries.multimedia.cartoons/2004/06/26/h/119%20-%20Mouse%20Into%20Space.avi.html

In a short from the forties, Donald thinks he's mortally wounded, and Black Pete helps him kill himself. Then they find out that Donald wasn't mortally wounded after all, and oh boy does Pete get pissed off.

Daffy blew his brains out after pitching the scarlett pimpernickle because it seems like you gotta blow your brains out to get a script sold in hollywood!
and one time popeyes annoying cousin or brotherin law or something came and visisted and he was really annoying and thretened suicide and put a gun to his head and he ruined popeyes birthday and was all "oh popeye i'm so sorry i'm so worthless boo hoo booh oo" then popeye killed him

I am sorry, Mr. Phillips.
A lot of people tried to kill themselves in Popeye. Like a Japanese general who tried to commit harikiri by drinking gasoline and eating firecrackers.

He didn't pull it off, but Popeye killed him later, so it all worked out. Full story here (http://www.encyclopedia-obscura.com/movieswar2.html)
