i think it was a countdown to when the halo 2 demo disc came out. the same sort of thing happened before halo came out, microsoft pretended to not know anything about it but if you followed the clues you could find out about cortana and stuff before the game came out. it's really just to excite people

and it's not a hacked site, it's designed to look like that and get people thinking about halo 2

Halo 2 is WAY to fricking over-hyped. I liked halo, but It's basically only gonna have dual weapons, same clunky controls, same mile-wide controller. I think Halo is like Sephiroth, everyone thought he was so freaking awesome, when it turns out that he only did a few cool things in the game (the ship scared the crap out of me though :() :/
