Just saw the commercial for the show, they already showed some of the Boo Berry footage, so it's definitely airing. Hope you guys are watching too. And if ya can't, like I said earlier, I'll be sure to get the video up online as soon as possible.

Hahah thanks for watching it, even in the middle of your football game. And yeah, I made sure I browsed the main page of the site as much as I could while they were filming... I was hoping they'd put some of it in there haha.
Such a silky voice, that made my entire week
Silky? Haha, now that's a first. Thanks for watching though, glad ya enjoyed it.

"Who the hell is that other guy" is exactly what i said when i saw him. Since he's a BooBerry Expert or whatever the hell his title was, i guess he works there. I definitely need to get my hands on that cereal, though, just to see what the friggin' buzz is about. Besides, you can't ignore a mascot who talks like that. You simply cannot.

It's airing again at 1am tonight for those of you who missed it. Otherwise, yes it will go up on the site as soon as I can get someone to get a copy transfered to the computer for me.
Besides, you can't ignore a mascot who talks like that. You simply cannot.
Definitely, I love how they not only let you hear his voice more, but they also showed how threatened chocula and frankenberry felt around him, so they tossed him out on the street. >: I told you, they never gave Boo Berry a chance.

I just saw it (it's 9:30 here on the west side). How you find the time to run I-mockery and at the same time manage a cereal fetish site is beyond me, but kudos to all your success.
Anyway, how about a link to the forums there? I can only pray the average new poster isn't as obnoxious. The cereal at my local QFC really sucks, too, so I'm interested in this intiative.

I am wondering why nobody seems to have heard his voice before, when that retarded radio interview is mentioned ever few months, and only weeks ago that pickleman cartoon came out on his song that was years old. I just have never seen any words come out of his moving mouth other than "I think he's gay."

Hehe cool, thanks.
And by the way, did you ask Marc Summers to call you "Rog"?
Nope, I was surprised by that too as I prefer Rog over Roger though.
for some reason, when i say "rog" i say it with the "g" sound like in.... "garb." but marc called you "roj."
have i been saying it wrong? :(
Yep, it's just short for Roger which is pronounced "Rah-jer", so "roj" would be the way to say it.

sadly, I do not get the food chanel. I will have to wait for it to be on the site.
I find it ironic that we have both worked so hard and the wider world knows us almost exlussively for, in your case Booberry and in mine Shatner.
Luckily both are embraceable.
Do you remeber Fruit Brute? Am I right that this cereal spin off lasted an even shorter time than Boo Berry?
And I always thought your name was pronounced
Rah-and then the gutteral sound made by jews in words like Chanukah and Chutzpah.

I taped the show at 1:00 last night. I'd send it, but I'm a broke-ass mutha with no money for fancy things like postage and boxes. I also don't like losing my tapes, even the crappy ones. This is not a crappy tape by any means-it's even got footage of a series Ghram (?) Chapman of Monty Python's failed TV series and an episode of Dead Like Me.
On a side note, the Riverside grocery store that's about five minutes from my secret hideout carrys Boo Berry. So that's cool.

Hehe, yeah that's just the way it goes. I'm just glad to get some extra exposure for the cereal so hopefully it's easier to find. And it's definitely fun being on TV.
Do you remeber Fruit Brute? Am I right that this cereal spin off lasted an even shorter time than Boo Berry?
Yeah Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy were basically cheap spinoffs of fruity pebbles, but with marshmallows. They didn't really taste very good, so I guess that's why they vanished pretty quickly.
:lol I didn't see it. :( When you put the episode up on the site.. you need to put up the Daily Show episode. I didn't see that one, either. :(
The Daily Show episode is already up on the Boo Berry site, but I'm not in that thing for very long. All you get to see me say is somethin about Frankenberry being gay. Was damned cool meeting Colbert though.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to put the episode up on the site, it really depends on when I get my copy of it on tape and how long it takes me to figure out how to get the video imported into Premiere on my new computer. I'll keep ya posted though...

“There are psychological studies that show people have a fear of blue foods,” says Roger Barr, a cereal collector who maintains The Official Boo Berry Web site (www.i-mockery.com/booberry). “A lot of stores won’t carry it.” But General Mills says it hasn’t given up the ghost. “We still make Boo Berry—it’s up to each individual store to order it,” says Liv Lane, a spokeswoman for GM. Boo Berry can be obtained at specialty.generalmills.com or by tormenting your grocer with nightly visits and loud wailing noises until he gives in.
Roger Barr, huh? A cereal collector, huh? A cereal collector who maintains a website, huh? :love
Did anyone else notice how fucking stupid the last part of that paragraph was?
"or by tormenting your grocer with nightly visits and loud wailing noises until he gives in" Sort of like giving him a bad stomach virus?
