The history part seems so real.....very well done.......the "period" sense feels like a mega budgeted Hollywood epic even though I know this is an indie film that must have had limited resources.....
Two technical things I want to single out: the score and the cinematography. Both are excellent -- better than excellent, in fact. Christopher Fields who did the score has to be very, very strong up and coming composer. It sounds like he has an amazing orchestra -- but I bet he didn't have one at all. Very haunting, beautiful, and scary music. And the cinematography by Viorel Sergovici is really first rate. Did you see the way the candlelight flickers in every scene that is supposed to be lit by candles or fire? Really, just awesome.
