from the advertising the movie looked quite delightful, it may be worth my 10 dollars.

I knew Mickey Rourke was gonna be good for this movie, but goddamn, he was just too perfect.

Kevin is one of my new favorite movie characters, now, along with those two smart thugs.

EDIT - And the Kevin/Wolf scene is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

EDIT2 - And hooooooly crap Alexis Bledel is gorgeous.

i liked the guy who was all 'omg look i got shot guys! whoa!'

i thoguht the only really stupid part was the guy who was like 'woah!' 'man, look at this thing!' 'should i go see a doctor or something!' 'ha ha, how zany this is!'

the movie reeked of tarantino, which is a mixed blessing. But it didn't really have any 'up' parts (except for the alley gundown), the whole thing was one big downer. A really pretty and well-done downer, though.

I was surprised at how faithful this movie was to the comic :o

I never really liked the comic but it was pretty cool. The only part I didn't like was Bruce Willis didn't really look all that old and sick, like his character was supposed to be, but whatever.

Marv is fucking wicked. Micky Rourke has changed his face with so much plastic surgery it finally worked out in his benefit.

And that chick from Gilmore girls is fucking hot. And so is Jessica alba. :eek

I never had a chance to see this until recently as it came out on DVD, and I was completely blown away by it. I have never seen anything this ambitious pulled off so well.
The only part I wasn't thrilled about was the third story. It went kind of stupid with some of the acting (more campy I should say) and the comedy relief was just agonizing. It seemed to try and make it into "funny violence" and ruined the mood. But even though I didn't worship every aspect of that story, didn't mean it still wasn't fantastic.

I feel like I can't appreciate this movie enough; almost every cut, every camera angle, is worth admiration. I don't like very many movies, but I wanted to make love to this one.

I saw this about a month ago, but I didn't see this thread back then.
Anyways, this was the only movie i've been to, where the audience actually appaluded when the credits started rolling. And I have to admit, they applauded for a good reason. This movie was awesome beyond belief.
I liked Marv episode the most, but the rest of the movie was outstanding aswell. Elijah Wood creeped me out, and the scene with the wolf was pretty twisted. Propably one of the most satisfying movie deaths i've witnessed.
I'm definetly buying the DVD the minute its released in here.

I disagree. Elijah made a point of not expressing his pain at all, just to further stick it to Marv.

Also, i'm not gonna bother with this crappy dvd. I'll wait for the tricked out version

Finally saw this movie for the first time last night, and FUCK was it good. That has to be one of the most beautifully artistic films I have ever seen. I still can't pick a favorite character, but damn was it one satisfying movie.
