Saw it today.


SPOILERS:

There is a horrible ever-lasting sequence with a mother penguin WEEPING over her dead frozen baby. Yes, they do show the dead frozen penguin babies, along with dieing adult penguins, but before things get too depressing for the audience they show a penguin slipping on a hill or a really fat penguin making a post-Thanksgiving face. The cute sequences are extremely cute, and alot of sad stuff pretty weep-worthy (THough I myself laughed a couple of times at the sad things. Erk..)

The southern lights sequence was pretty trippy, too.

Not a pelican, a seagull. They don't show it eating it, but they do show it chasing around a whole group of baby penguins and then catching one by the neck and dragging it around while it squeaked.

Oh gawd that movie made me embarassed for National Geographic. It was supposed to be a documentary i thought but they made it too "FAMILY MOVIE" ish
Go see this if you like movies where animals die and are way too repetitive

ps they made seals villians I H8 PERSONIFICATION

also if anyone laughed at the footage of baby penguins yall can go fuck urselfs

it's interesting the way some penguins find a special stone for their future wives to evaluate and choose between. but the way they take turns staying with the babies would suck. it's like, hey, we got no we time. i got no me time. and it's fucking cold out here.
