Chojin: Well, I never played the original RE. I've only played the Director's Cut edition :/. Supposedly there's costumes and stuff that werent in the original and "updated" graphics. Also, the beginning cutscene is acted out by real people and it is god awful.

Beginning cutscene and the endings were acted out by real people in all versions of RE, but they had a colorized and uncensored version for DC, which they forgot to put in when it went gold. Subsequently, Capcom released the actual DC version of the cutscene on their site. It's awesome, I wish the RE movies were exactly that cheesy and awful :<
