Take one kickass TV show, show it for one season, can it, leaving many many many questions unanswered, then awhile later, drop a full length movie into the mix.
Only a few things truely bugged me, and left questions unanswered.
What where they trying to do with River?
What is Sheperd Brook's mysterious past?
Will I ever score with a kick ass ninja girl?
I enjoyed the Movie.
The Reavers in the movie freaked me out. Not like it a monster type thing, so be scared, but more of a it truely scary so now I'm scared type thing.

Yeah apparently there is like huge cult following for this show.
I wasn't passionate about this show when it was on but I was still sad that it was canned

is it just me or does the trailer for this look terrible? The acting seemed bad, the lines cliche, and the story looked like the fifth element. on ass.

This movie was actually pirated something like a year ago, they just now finally decided to make money off of it and stick it in theaters :O

The dvd sales were way better than the ratings the show got. Alot of new people caught on, including myself.

The acting isn't anything spectacular but as far as Sci-Fi movies go, this one is very good. Somewhat more of a realistic space adventure. IMO, Adam Baldwin was great in the series (Jayne).

If you watch the movie and you've never seen the show are you going to be clueless as to what's going on the entire time?

You will be somewhat confused. And you won't have a charachter base to build from.

Aye, Fox kept jumping the show times around so I had only watched about 5 complete episodes. (out of about 10 aired) :(
I bought the DVDs right when it released.
The acting was only slightly wooden at the start of the movie.
