this is based off that anime right? I never saw it, but i heard it was good.
I'v always liked cyber punk type stuff, but there something about the trailer that bugged me. That matrix jumping crap when they were like "oh lets stay off the grass" is getting annoying. Noone moves like that, and i don't care what anyone says, it looks stupid. All these "look its a women kicking ass" movies that seem to be coming out recently are anoying too. Yeah i guess its cool to see a lady badass every once in a while, but this movie looks like a whole group of women freedom fighters that will jump off walls and karate chop guys in the face.
Im asuming there is more to the story then what the trailer let on, becuase it looked like every other futuristic dystopian story about fighting the man.
But I'v heard that its good so...

The only movie with a female protagonist i have hopes for is" Domino" none of that matrix bullshit, just good ol 12guage to your face - hide behind a wall because you cant dodge fucking bullets - repeat, action.

I actually got some information on this movie. Its suppost to be a sequal to the series. And they are actually coming out with a game that will bridge the gap between the series and the movie
