Schimid made a thread about 2 years ago about this, and back then it went through a long beta test that was free for all, then went pay to play for a long time.
This past week it went free again, so anyone that's interested in any music games (similar to DDR but you're not using your feet in this), just check it out at www.o2jam.com.my
if you want to play, you'll need to set up a free account at www.e-games.com.my
There is an international (meaning non-malaysian) tournament being run in mid-January that's open to anyone that would like to participate. go to www.o2jammer.com if you want to register for that. (i'm helping run the tournament so i won't be competing)
There are still bugs in this game, but it gets addicting if you like music and hitting things to the beat of music. At least it's free again.

I'm Keaton421. This is a whole lot of fun until I get the money to resubscribe to WoW.
I'm level 1 now and just bought some decent clothes and some hair.

I'd like to be, but how do you get EP?
Also, I can't seem to get any of the songs to download, what do I do?

EP is game money that you have to buy with real money through a really overcomplicated process.

King Hades: For those who haven't played music games before, it'll take a while to get used to O2Jam, but it's well worth it!
DeadKennedys: For downloading songs, I'd highly recommend the bittorrent available on the song download page (http://www.o2jam.com.my/song_pack.asp). Here's the story on EP: Its only purpose now is to buy more songs and avatar items. There are several ways to get it, and I list them all on in one of my guides (http://www.o2jammer.com/index.php?page=tut&tid=2&p=4).

Batch unzip them into c:\program files\e-games\o2jam\music, assuming you actually do have o2jam installed.

Both MLE and I are always willing to play with just about anyone, so if you're tired of playing in a single room and want somebody to play with, or if you ever want any help/suggestions/tips/etc, just give either of us an IM (mine's rossmzx).
And MLE, it's because I'm magiiic.
