So what things have really stuck in your mind about 2005? These can be personal or public things.

For me, the highs have been:
- Going to Download festival
- Meeting my girlfriend
- Giving up smoking weed
- Going to Uni
- Meeting lots of new friends

The lows:
- A (ex-)friend had a breakdown and went crazy
- Im pretty sure I have destroyed my liver
- I supose its kind of gay that this year there has been War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. Lets just hope no apocalypses happens soon.

Highs
- Actually completing my placement year without going insane. Some people in my year failed to do this, or completed it and now hate computers.
- Getting my band back together and having some really good jams.
- Spending time with good friends.
- Oh and managing to so far achieve 1sts for all my assignments. Yay!

Lows
- Returning to uni and discovering that although I have changed they certainly haven't. Bah
- Having to pull all-nighters for my assignments.
- Getting really ill just before christmas.
- Finding out my closest friend has been lying to me.
- My Dad and brother being critically ill after a trip to Nigeria. :(
- My lead guitarist not showing up for band practices due to his girlfriend. >:
- Oh I almost forgot, not having anywhere to go on new years eve because everyone is either working, elsewhere or with their partner. :(

Is it my imagination or did Helm go to university in England as well?

I think my cousin goes to Bournemouth. He loves it, but he came from Somerset so he's going to love anything with electricity and women's ankles in broad daylight.
