Post-pub snacks

After a night out moderately drinking a few pints of Carlsberg Export my favourite snack back home, at the moment, is a bacon sandwich with plenty of HP sauce, preferably with Danish bacon and Lurpak butter.

What's yours? I'm thinking of snacks you make yourself at home for this thread, but it could be a takeaway if you like.

Cheeseburger ala Kebab shop with chips is my usual post pub meal.

If im feeling adventurous I may have a chicken shiesh kebab but they are too hard to eat and I always manage to get chilli sauce in my eye

If im at home I have a cheese, ham, pickle and mayo sandwitch (ploughmans?) :yum

I had a late night cheese and pickle snack last week and I had disturbing dreams all night. They were mostly about fighting and I kept waking up with my heart pounding. I'd also mixed wine with beer, so it could have been that as well.

never heard of it. but it does sound similar to what i consider the best brown sauce: on a local chinese restaurant's specialty dish, o'neal chicken. i'd ask next time, but if i'd discovered the secret recipe i might not get so much free food and drinks from then on.

When I first started going out drinking I used to often get chips (fries) and curry sauce from the Chinese Fish & Chip shop. I always managed to splatter it over my clothes so I eventually gave up that habit, but I once asked them what was in the sauce. They wouldn't tell me all of it but they did say it had HP sauce in it, and that's maybe why I get a craving for it now after I've had a few pints.

after going on major drinking binges with a rebound boyfriend named devon (poor guy), we would exit the bar and head to a place called mama's boys where we would get a po boy loaded with french fries, bbq sauce and coleslaw. fuckin a it was good.
