Er, I'm no expert on Christianity but isn't Christmas meant to celebrate Jesus's birthday?
I believe Pancake Day is something to do with the start of Lent and pancakes use up any milk and eggs you've got, which you're not supposed to eat during Lent.
I'm going to have one with some Lurpak butter on and one with lemon and sugar.

If the Queen gets two birthdays its only fair Jesus does too.

Fair enough.
What do you put on your pancake though? That's the important thing.
My family's always used lemon and sugar, but it could be ice cream, butter or anything.

Ok im going to have to come clean, I actually hate pancakes and probably won't eat one this evening. But it seemed like a topical topic to make :/

Maple syrup's expensive over here, sugar and lemon is cheap and it goes really well, try it.

I'm going over for free pancakes at my church tonight. I'm not religious at all, but I'm going to say I am so they'll feed me. >:

American pancakes are different to British pancakes which are really more like crepes. But the word crepes is too French & sounds like craps. :rolleyes

they are not fat they are fluffy
and you have to syrup them because they by themselves have little sugar in them :( either that or put strawberries and whipped cream :eek
