I thought it was good, it's very metal. There were some really lame jokes, almost all the band dialogue was bad, but I think it will get alot better.

I think the band's dialogue was bad on purpose.

Meh. It was kind of rambling, not much of a point. Of course, that's what the show was going for, but they didn't do it that well. It did have funny moments, but Spinal Tap, it is not.

It was kind of funny. I had to turn closed captioning to get the full effect of the metal parody songs, though.

I also liked when their Metal Stage-Cage missed the giant X :)

I giggled my ass off watching this, but I probably liked the humor more because there was a guy on another forum I go to that judged the metalness of everything. "This is so metal" or "the metalitude of this is questionable", and such.
Will watch again :D

I fucking love it. The music is actually good, too, which i love. Like, not mind-blowing, but it would stand out on its own even without the show.

I'm entertained by pretty much anything on Adult Swim, so yes, I enjoyed it. Especially the part where they're shopping and one of the dudes fills the cart full of booze.

I thank God that Adultswim created the Adultswim Fix on their website, otherwise I would never be able to see this.

Aside from a DVD set, they'd be fools not to release a CD or two featuring the music from this show. After all, they did travel to the bottom of the ocean to record some of it.

The promo DVD included an EP with all the songs on the first two episodes, including a birthday song.

I think you are right Willie, I found an interview with Brendon Small on aspecialthing regarding guest stars
Brendon Small: Well, they won’t play themselves, but James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet from Metallica are going to be in it, Michael Amott from Arch Enemy, and Jeff Loomis. I’ve spoken with King Diamond a few times, he’s the coolest guy I’ve ever talked to on the phone. So hopefully we’ll record him in June. Mark Hamill [of Star Wars fame] is on the show, too. The metal heads should know that.

The more of this show I watch the more awesome their assistant gets. I also love Pickles, he's clearly the "smart one", relatively speaking.
