I'm not sure, I thought the biggest draw to the sims was the gameplay and the addictiveness, as far as i can remember the Sims themselves have always looked pretty shitty.

I'm on the fence until I get my hands on it.

I'm not blaming nintendo, I'm just saying that because of their stereotype of being the baby of the videogame family that developers make everyone in their games look like babies, anime babies in fact. The Wii might not be able to make humans look completely realistic (they can't make shaq sweat in NBA 07', oh no) it doesn't mean they have to look like noseless beasts that only Coke Music could love.

a lot of gamers choose gameplay over graphics, and you would have to be a fool not to, but there is a certain point when graphics look like utter shit when you have to draw the line.

and this game looks ugly and too cartoony. the sims 2 was going the right direction with it's graphics and hell, they couldn't have got much better than that.

Well even then it has other games. After all M$'s own Rare is making Viva Pinata for Xbox360. But X360 has some GREAT games.
