So yeah, how many CGI movies came out this year and last year? I thought companies like Dreamworks were trying to set standards witht he CGI films....so after Finding Nemo,, I take it the new standard is to churn out about 300 third-rate films in a year?

I only saw about 10 movies this year and I can safely that assume You Me and Dupree was the worst

yeah I wanna change mine to Miami Vice. It wasn't worth the $20 to watch Colin Ferrel bone some Asian woman for an hour and a half straight, drive a boat, and stand beside Jamie Foxx. But it did have a pair of very nice scenes namely the sniper ambush, and the final shootout with the M203 door breaching round to that guys chest.

Colin Farrell really did all that in the movie? All I remember is him standing there with Jamie Foxx (Who did pretty much everything in this shitfest) and brood with his gay-looking 80s mustache.
I only seen two boats in the whole movie, and neither of them moved. They just exploded.

Dec 29th, 2006, 12:33 AM
Yeah the scene where he was driving the boat was possibly 15 minutes long. The worst part is that the critics ate it up. Miami Vice or When A Stranger Calls. Or maybe Final Destination 3. That was 06 right?

Little Man - worst movie of 2006. One hundred years of cinematic technology, special effects development and cgi breakthroughs just so someone can plaster the face of a Wayens brother onto the body of a midget to facilitate a series of testical bashing gags.
Furthermore, if there is one thing worse than cgi, it's bad cgi and Little Man had that in spades. It actually tops White Chicks in unintentional creepiness.

Believe it or not, Little Man is loosely based on one of the coolest Stories of all time, The Terrible Three - by Tod Robbins. That was later turned into a movie (The Unholy Three) directed by Tod Browning - of Dracula and Freaks fame.
It was also a 1956 Bugs Bunny cartoon - which is likely where the Brother Grim here stole the idea from.

Geez, except for Pirates 2, Rocky Balboa, and casino Royale...2006 was a shit year for movies. Same goes for other things.

Mission Impossible 3. I highly enjoyed 1 & 2 but this movie literally sucked my brain out. How many times has the whole "We put a thingy in your head that will explode" plot device been used?

Little Man - worst movie of 2006.
Thank you! I read this thread the other day and I was reminded of a movie I'd seen a couple months ago that was just fucking terrible but I couldn't remember what it was, no matter how hard I tried.
Little Man is easily one of the worst movies I've seen in my entire life and I feel sick whenever someone talks about how funny it is.
Zelda- you're a fucking retard. Just go die or something.

will see have to see little man at some stage just to see how shit it is, then distribute pirate dvds of it as to damage any possible profits the markers could get
so, what everyone's favourite for 'worst movie of 2007', im betting on 'Epic movie' aka " 'make obvious and unfunny parodies of any popular movie that came out since the last movie we made' movie"

Eragon, no doubt.
I had to take my cousin to see that, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was just aimed at ten year olds, like that horrible, horrible Warriors of Virtue movie.

What caught my attention, was how much the author had copied from Tolkien. And it was clichy as hell. Snakes on a plane was crappy too, but in a good way: it gave few grat laughs, while Eragon was just a pile of steaming dragon guano.

Miami Vice was about as bad as it could of gotten. Except for the two scenes of action that I actually liked.
Inside Man-Nobody mentions this movie when talking about best movies of 2006. It was directed by Spike Lee. It wasn't his normal stuff spitting ratial inequality or anything like that. It was about a bank heist.
I saw it twice in the theater. The first time with just one friend. The second I convinced about eight people to see this over Firewall, which was pretty bad. They all enjoyed it.

INSIDE MAN! Just out of curiousity, you know the scene right after somebody "Dies" or something he freaks out and "runs" to the bank, it's like a face shot of him moving towards the bank. Now my question is: am I the only person who noticed that he looked like he was riding a segway during that shot?

my girlfriend and I almost rented it last night (clerks 2) and I thought back to this thread and was all, "I heard it sucks" and she was all, "But what idiot did you hear that from" and i was all :/
we rented house of flying daggers instead which is not only a somewhat beautiful romance story but the fight scenes aren't too ridiculous and are quite enjoyable to watch.
