MOCK WARS 2K7 GRUDGE MATCHES

[Mock Wars Admin]

As the Mock Wars enter their 3rd and 4th rounds, the number of actual fights of course dwindles with each halving of the competitors. It is for this VERY REASON that we are adding GRUDGE MATCHES to the Mock Wars this year in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

These GRUDGE MATCH rounds will be OPTIONAL for the voters, and will take place in the same timeframe as the Block A and B matches. Ideally, I'd like to have 1-2 grudge matches per block. I realize this is short notice for potential Block A grudgers, but hopefully this is something you all would like to get involved in.

Eligible contestants are:
- Anyone who is not "event blacklisted", and
- Anyone who has not yet been eliminated from the Mock Wars proper (in other words, if you've already been eliminated from this year's Mock Wars, you CAN participate in a grudge match.)

Here's how you sign up for this:
1. State your desire to participate in this thread.
2. State the Block in which you'd like to participate (Block A is Mon-Tues-Wed, Block B is Thurs-Fri-Sat).
3. State the name of your proposed opponent.
4. Have your opponent post in similar fashion in this thread to confirm.

Then, you people say in this thread which of these matches you'd most like to see. The grudge matches that get the "green light" to proceed in Round 3 will be the ones that the most people want to see happen.

Since the Chojin VS Max Burbank match has been frontpaged on I-Mockery, we've had close to a hundred people watching these fights simultaneously; There are a lot of people watching the Mock Wars now, and we need content from people who are willing to deliver. Do not sign up for this to make an unfunny ass of yourself to prove some sort of point that none of us could care less about. Only sign up if you honestly think you could do a good job.
