Is there something I'm missing here? All i hear are fucking praises for this hard to find game and once I actually get my hands on it I'm not impressed at all. Is there something about not being able to damage bosses with anything but critical attacks and essentially being limited to a certain number of attacks thats appealing to the fans of this game?

Someone please enlighten me.

It gets praised for the same reason as Legend of Dragoon. Which i really dont understand at all as LoD sucked balls, Dragoon balls.

You gotta admit the ending to LoD was funny, what with that girl getting electrocuted, causing her to let out a bored, monotoned wail of "pain".

apparently the reason this game is so unfinished and crummy was beacue half way through its development Square reallocated funding from almost all titles in production at the time, to finishing that awful Spirits within movie.

Parasite eve is still much better than tis but u don't hear about people wailing at the sky about it.

I still can't get to the second disc in 2.

really 2 was fairly easy, even though they decide the original game play was "too original" and dumbed it into a RE clone. The last boss is a let down, all u do is use drain about 4 times.

I liked Xenogears quite a bit. It was fresh at the time and had some good storytelling/characters. Bought the first Xenosaga hoping it'd be good and didn't enjoy it so I haven't played one since.

I remember it being annoying to explore in. Like not being able to see the ground sometimes.

I borrowed Xenogears from a friend and when I read the part of the back that said "over thirty minutes of stunningly drawn anime" or something to that effect I gave it back to him the next day.
