Alright, I saw the first two a few weeks ago after hearing many good things and the first one was one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. The second one kinda sucked but the quad shotgun and reggie are as legendary as ash and his shotgun to me now.

I saw the 3rd and 4th recently and they were pretty good too. Can't wait for the finale :love

Also, "Booooy!" is now the best horror quote ever.

The first 2 Phantasm's absolutely ruled. The 3rd and the 4th ones, while not as well written, were still entertaining. The Phantasm movies rule cuz they're actually scary at times, not to mention completely bizarre. And then of course there's the spheroid sentinels, which just kick ass.

The last Phantasm movie is supposed to really rule whenever it does finally get made. What I really like about them is even though some of the sequels are like 10 years apart, the film quality and everything looks identical.

Also, even though it was kinda odd, I liked how mike made his own sphere in 4.

The movies fucking rock. The third is definitely the lesser of the series (a little kid with a handgun?) but it more than makes up for it by being kickass.

If you don't have the $10 disc from MGM, get it: it's one of the best Special Edition discs ever created. And I want a fucking Tall Man action figure, damn it!

I have to say the best Reggie moment EVER was getting him to do the hokey pokey with me while I was warming up the actors for GYROS World of Terror.

Zbu (and anyone else): MGM is starting to kick ass. I'm pretty sure they also released return of the living dead on dvd and it's like 10$ too but has some very cool stuff on it.

I'm pumped to see the last one. I had never even heard of Phantasm until about 2 years ago after seeing part 3 on USA. I thought the movie was quite bizarre but I was intruiged about the other 3. So I went ahead and bought the Phantasm dvd and 2,3,4 on vhs. Worth the 50$ or so I paid for all 4.

Reggie does autograph signings at GYROS World of Terror (haunted house). One year we had this really obnoxious cast leader who had the actors doing some theatre type warm ups. Really unncessary for jump scare actors......

He had to run out and asked me to warm up the actors. So I started in with his "put your right foot in.....twist you ancle to left....now to the right......" I ended up doing the hokey pokey. Reggie came in at that moment and came running over yelling. "I love the hokey pokey!!!!!"
Now, everytime I work GYROS and he is there he ask me in a really dirty voice if I "wanna do the hokey pokey with him"


Which is far better than Bob May (the actor for the robot in the original lost in space) asking me to dress up like a school girl. Talk about "Danger Will Robinson" Ick.....
