I second Pokemon Snap only because I can't think of anything else at the moment. :(

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Gold Coins for GameBoy is pretty easy. :(

The final level in SML2 always fucked me. But then, I pretty much suck at games. My vote: PaRappa the Rapper.

shenmue was sweet but dear god i could not sit through that much bs story. guess I have a terrible attention span, but i think that shenmue would problay be one of the hardest games for me to complete.

Shenmue blows, in my opinion. One must wonder how Yu Suzuki pitched the idea to his coworkers.

"Okay, guys. Let's have this game where you talk to people, and they guide you to other people, who in turn guide you to other poeple. It'll fucking RULE!!!!"

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and CV: Harmony of Dissonance. Harmony was blatantly too easy just to make up for how tough Circle of the Moon was. >:

MGS2

I beat it in 3 hours just out of the box.

Rongi

That's fucking impossible. Unless you skipped some cutscenes, which I doubt you could have.

kirbys dreamland was pretty easy

Unless you played it on Very Easy, skipped the cutscenes, and had a 6th sense as to how everything in the game worked, there's no way you could have beaten it in 3 hours. And since it was on Very Easy, yeah, it WOULD be easy.

Final Fantasy 7 (excluding Ruby and Emerald) was really easy. I beat Sephiroth by accident the first time, trying t see his Supernova attack.

Dark Cloud ended up being kind of easy too, because the weapon system was easy to abuse. I killed the final boss (and the extra final boss) in a few hits. The only hard part was the enemies in the Demon Shaft, but most of them you'd be able to bypass.

Final Fantasy X as well, when it came to weapons. I know that getting the ultimate weapons was a side quest and all, but a couple of them were "along the way" to begin with. And when you got the Break Damage Limit ability, and had a strong character, you were doing 99999 damage, which ended up being WAY more than any of the final bosses' hit points. Just seemed like they should have made their HP higher to reflect the very high chance you had the ability to rape them. Although, the special monsters in the Monster Arena provided quite a challenge.

All the Smackdown games, versus the computer, are easy. But that's just because the play mechanics are a little... shitty.

I always thought life force was pretty easy once you put in that Capcom code that works for contra- Any other game use that besides those 2?

Paper Mario and Super Mario RPG were easy. So was Eternal Darkness on Gamecube. The puzzles aren't hard at all, just common sense really.

Cheating doesn't count when you're talking about a game's difficulty.:maul

Anyway, the Konami code also worked for Gradius, Kid Clown, Tengen Tetris, Nemesis, TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan, Raging Fighter, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Zombie Nation, and Top Gun 2; modified or backward versions were in Gradius 3, TMNT 3, Batman Returns, Final Fight 2, Gyruss, Mortal Kombat 3, NBA Give-N-Go, North and South, Operation C, and Smart Ball.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: this HAS to be the easiest game ever, except maybe for Pokemon snap, but I don't even count that as a "game." FF:MQ is intended to be a RPG for people who are beginners at RPG's, but I think even someone who has never played an RPG before would consider FF:MQ to be as easy as breathing through your nose.

For me, it's a tossup between Final Fantasy X and Dino Crisis 2. FFX was simple because of the linear gameplay for most of the game, while DC2 was too combat heavy.

That game confused me at one point. Damn Reveal Invisible. :(

eternal darkness was not that easy, the catherderal boss had me stumped for a while, and robertos chapter had me confused.

its not that easy, but its not that hard either.

That's weird. It said Cap'n Crunch had the last reply here, but the_dudefather did. :omgconfused

I'm all up for the deletion of Crunch's posts though, so I'm happy.

And Link's Awakening only took me about two hours straight through today, but I guess that doesn't really count because my first time through took me about a month and now I know that game like the back of my...penis. :(

EDIT: OK, now Crunch's post appeared, but it says there's 25 posts now, even though as of this post there are actually 26. Is it like this for anyone else?

As a rule of thumb, Japanese Games tend to be very easy, whilst American games are usually hard (but have tons of cheats!). That just leaves European games, which suck, and British games, which are the best.

Three easy-peasy games that instantly spring to mind are:

Sega Rally
Duke Nukem 3d
MDK

I'm over half-way into Wind Waker now, and I've never been close to dying. Hell, I haven't even had to use a fairy yet.

It looks like I'm never ever going to hit that Nintendo gallery switch, though. >:

I'd have to disagree with you, Eternal Darkness was super easy. Beat it in one sitting (one sitting consisting of a couple of 2-3 minute breaks for food, pop, bathroom) in only like 13 or 14 hours. Never got stuck once.

ED is indeed easy to beat!

Also for easy games...I thought that Star Fox Adventures was pretty easy, as was Final Fantasy IX (compared to what I was expecting atleast, allthou it was a GREAT game)

For easy games I would have to say Kirbys Dreamland, ShadowGate 64, Wario Land(Gameboy) Star Fox Adventures and Enter the Matrix.

The 2nd Star Wars game, I believe it was called rebel alliance or something. I recall beating it in 1/2 hour on PS1.

Devil may cry was too easy. You mean Devil May Cry II right? Because the first game was pretty hard.

Zomboid

No, I mean the first one. I think I died once and that was cause I was trying to make the final boss battle last longer by just dodging.

The Second one is said to be like ten times easier than the first.

There are alot of easy games. I haven't had serious trouble in a single player game since I was a kid. :/

It's all about competition instead. The cpu doesn't have shit.

I wish they would make more games like they used to. Games you could never beat. Games were your skill were totally determined by your score. Every single game in the 80s seemed to have the goal of getting the highest score. now that is rarely thee case. No cheating no secrets just pure skill. None of those old games were easy beacuse you couldnt ever beat them. You could get damn good but there was still always someone better than you.

And I guess a big reason is that you are against real people's scores not some retarded program.

Super Mario Bros.

Heh heh heh.

Maybe because so many of us have played through it so many times, we could all probably get through world 1-1 in our sleep.
