Hi, I am Henry Gary and I have lived in Wilmington, Delaware all my life except when I was in the Army from Aug. 1952 to Aug. 1954. I am a retired bookkeeper, and the ironic part of my spending time on my computer is when I was working I had a 2nd job which I did mostly from my home. Was able to do most of the work right here. The 2nd job was at a church here in Wilmington and they wanted me to start doing all the work on a computer, and I knew nothing about computers and didn't understand them so I took my SS, retired from the church job after 24 years and worked 2 days a week at my regular job. I retired from the regular job completely last June, not working at all now and I love retirement. I have 4 children Dean, Lynne, Dawn and Gwen. Here is a photo of me and them.

I have 11 Grandchildren, Lynne had 2 boys with her 1st husband, Gig and Jeffrey. Jeffrey was born with spina bifida, a birth defect effecting the spine. He was paralyzed from the waist down, He was born Oct. 18, 1976 and he died Dec. 26, 1982 at the age of 6 years. He was a very sweet and special boy. Here is his photo.

Lynne has 2 boys with her 2nd husband Vince. They are Tripp and Andrew. Dawn and her husband Ed have 4 girls, Steffany, Samantha, Molly and MacKenzie. Gwen and her husband Mike have l girl Melissa and 2 boys, Justin and Adam. Here is a photo taken last Christmas of me and my Grandchildren, I am holding Adam and the fellow on the back row with the beard is my oldest grandchild Gig who is 22 now. Adam was born last year, Oct. 23.

I have a Kitty Cat who lives with me. She was a stray who came in my back yard and we became friendly but she was a little scared of my dog and would not stay in the house. One morning it was snowing and when I opened the back door, she ran in and has been here ever since. Here is her photo

When I was in the Army I met and became friends with 2 guys, Jim Lee and Pete Brown, we took basic training at Aberdeen, Maryland which wasn't too far from Wilmington and they came home with me several weekends and also at Christmas 1952. I was in Korea and Jim was in Germany and we lost contact in 1954. Last May I posted a message in the Lost Persons Forum and heard from 2 people giving me a phone number for a Jim Lee in Columbus, Ohio which was where Jim was from. I called the number and after 42 years was reunited with Jim. I am still looking for Pete, his name was Edward L. Brown but went by the name Pete. He was from Kimball, West Virginia and the last time I heard from him back around 1983 he was living in Chicago and was retired from the phone company. If anyone reading this knows him please contact me. Here is a photo taken of Pete back in 1954.
