Its amazing how something that is quite a cool idea immediately gets picked up all over the world and goes from exciting to cliched in a matter of days. We just had one of the UK ringleaders on our radio show, and he really thought he was part of some cutting edge social revolution, the poor sap.
I guess these days nothing decent can possibly stay underground for long. One days its an exclusive mailing list, the next you have the shitty tabloid and broadsheets talking 'exclusively' about this 'amazing new craze'.

I think it would be less retarded if these people actually did something once they've got a bunch of fellow idiots gathered in the same spot. So far the most wild, zany stuff I've heard them do is "everybody opens their umbrella at the same time (on a sunny day)" or "everybody jump like a frog" (that one was especially hilarious since only three people showed up - I guess it's a little too crazy).

Jesus, you've got all that manpower, do something good. Simultaneously slit all your wrists, or throw everyone off the same cliff, or start beating your chest and sing Michael Jackson's "They don't really care about us".

I don't see what's wrong with it. They all do somthing that makes you say "hey, look, they all said the same thing at the same time." It's like the things they do on Trigger Happy TV, where you go home and say "I just saw the damndest thing today."

It definitely looks cool if you have enough people doing something interesting. A lot of it's funny, but when it's for something that you're trying to prove a hopeless point on -- for example, the TRUTH anti-smoking ads -- it's a little queer.

I wanted to get a pack of cigarettes from my friend's older sister, and even though I hate smoking, and I have asthma, every time I see one of those ads I wish I had the pack so I could light one up.

The ads make me want to be a smoker. I'm positive beyond a doubt I'm part of a fairly signifigant demographic.
