Does anyone know just how much of a fire hazard christmas lights really are?
I'm in the process of making a canopy thing for my bed, and wanted to put some lights up as well...but burning down my bed would make me cry. :(

I don't see why they would be any more of a fire hazard than a regular light. Unless the wires are frayed or the bulbs are cracked or you put too many plugs in one socket of course...

They don't have enough wattage to give off the heat that regular bulbs would. Don't worry. I know what I'm talking about.

Plutonium is better for glowing objects tan Christmas lights.
