Last night I drove 125 miles per hour off an interstate, coming within five feet of a street light. In a convertible with the top down, I rolled 75 feet into a bean field and landed upside-down. The only wound I suffer is a quarter-inch scrape on my right hand.

I really don't know why God feels the need to show off to me so much.

Glad you're okay, Seth.

Were your tires speed rated to go that fast? What the hell happened? details details!!!!

My mind's survival mechanisms blocked out all the cool parts, I'm afraid. In the hospital I found a hot chick's phone number in my pocket.

I'm still quite convinced that nobody should have been able to survive that.

1. Why drive 125 miles an hour?
2. GG
3. Glad that you're okay and everything is all right. :)

1. I was really wondering that myself. It makes no sense to me.

Fuck "can't drive 55", man! You're the poster child for "can't drive 110!"

Damn, you're lucky... If I drive at 60 MPH, some asshole will rear-end my car to the point of actually entering it...

Totalled. 1991 BMW 325i convertible. I loved that car so much.

Goddamn beans had it coming.

Speaking from experience, it seems that the worst looking accidents are the ones people walk away from.

I was in this accident like a year ago. We slid out and tipped on our side rolled twice and wound up with our hood impaled on a tree branch just inches away from my head any closer and i would have been Trigger-kabob. I walked away with a cut on my cheek, so i know what you mean.

But i didn't get any phone numbers. God hates me.

Were you drunk? Drunk people always walk away from car accidents leaving a reign of fiery death and chaos in their wake. :sermon

I never made a conscious decision to drive off. The only reason I was in my car in the first place was to make a phone call to say that I'd be staying the night in that house where I was parked. My subconscious hates me and wants me dead.

I need to start bringing my digital camera to work and taking pictures of the wrecks I encounter.

AChimp
Aug 20th, 2003, 06:28 PM
Is that legal?

Carnivore
Aug 20th, 2003, 06:31 PM
It is if I don't include the licence plate or anything else that indentifies the vehicle... and if the bodies have already been cleared out.

Ninjavenom
Aug 20th, 2003, 07:48 PM
Are you allowed to take pictures of the actual deaths you encounter? I'd pay petty money for those.

Carnivore
Aug 20th, 2003, 07:55 PM
Errrr... I don't know.

Ninjavenom
Aug 20th, 2003, 08:03 PM
I think it's legal, as long as you don't put personal information on them or anything. Otherwise, Ogrish would not be allowed to operate, and half of Rotten's archives would be nonexistant, methinks.

Spinster: I did finally call her. More in the Loveline forum, of course.

I had dreams in my early adolescence that told me I was immortal. That's why I'd drink mercury and throw matches into gas tanks and stick my finger into light sockets... just to disprove those bastards in my dreams.
