And I agree. I've watched the entire Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend series, and unless something is seriously lost in the translation, it makes absolutely no sense. Has anybody else seen it all and actually understood wtf was going on?

We came to the realization that it's not a very good idea. :(

Although in one of the episodes of part 3, they say "fuck" like over 50 times in a half hour episode. I swear there was one line that was "Fuck the fucking fuckers!"

The craziest bit is when that kid cuts his schlong off and replaces it with a deamon schlong to get daemonic powers.

I think alot of confusion comes from the fact Urotsukidoji was origionaly a 12 part series , then they made parts 1-3 into a film (legend of the overfiend) and cut scenes from the series and added new ones , then the same for parts 4-5 for legend of the demon womb, 6-8 became return of the over fiend -again with bits altered ...

Basicaly bad studio planning and production resulted in films which only seem to make sense when watched as an *individual* story , rather than trying to watch it as a timeline .

The music in the first episode is the greatest thing in the world. It's like a general MIDI dance party in my head.

What I really don't understand is how at the end of one episode Nagumo has turned into the beast and destroyed Tokyo with his tentacles... yet the next episode it's like this never happened (I haven't watched the series for awhile so I can't recall which eps exactly). Amano got hurt and so did Megumi and it was a very powerful ending - I really don't think it could've been a dream sequence? Other than that this series is great! I didn't like the Urotsukidoji 3 series with the robot and that beast man and those rebels though... what a bunch of mickey mouse bullshit!
