For fans of "Carnivale"

I've long considered Carnivale to be one of the greatest shows, if not THE greatest show, ever to air on TV. Unfortunately, it was cancelled at the end of season 2... and while fans are all hoping for a Carnivale movie to be made some day, there's really no telling if or when that will hapen.

Another frustrating thing is that most people haven't even been able to buy the DVD sets because they were so expensive - usually running 70 - 90 bux for a single season. So fans like myself have been forced to try catching the scattered episodes on TV when they happen to be airing.

Well, I thought I'd let you guys know that Amazon just put a BIG discount up for them right now and I managed to get both seasons yesterday for $43 bux total (plus free shipping). Hell of a good deal. So yeah, if any of you have been wanting to get both seasons on DVD... NOW is definitely a good time to do it. I have this feeling that they won't stay in print for too long, and they're definitely never gonna be cheaper than this.

Right on. I was, of course, a big fan of the series and actually negotiated to get on the show as an extra. The sideshow I toured with did a pilot for HBO back in the day...that eventually became the Jim Rose Twisted Tour show on another network, I believe. Anyway, the fact that Carnivale was canceled was a huge crime. It was taken away long before it was time. That was a crazy couple of years when everything interesting and popular was being canceled for no apparent reason....like Dead Like Me.
