Well, the page is still up, with a couple massive disclaimers:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-Mockery

Check out the references section - there's plenty of links in there to outside shit, the only self-references are linking to the articles discussed in the entry. How the fuck else are you supposed to reference that?

I still wonder how you're suppose to prove something exists other than the fact that it exists and is fact.

It proves that 99% of Wikipedia editors are huge faggots.

I saw some local newpaper article about "14 year old nerd admins Wikipedia" and laughed my ass off. It was about some kid who thought a good time was reading about topics he knows nothing about and judging if they were true or not.

I sometimes vandalize pages pertaining to the Chinease space program. I constantly edit the names of the modules and ships to names I remember from TV when I was a kid. The "Kobi" research module became known as the "Mr. Belvadere" and the launch date is "whenever they get to it". I also edit the sentence structure without removing words so that the article makes no sense. It's good fun, especially with a dynamic IP.

The edits seem to only last a few seconds nowadays.

Me and my friend would vandalize wikipedia pages when there was nothing to do at work. The result was we got my bosses computer banned from wikipedia. We never told him about it.
And yeah, our edits lasted like five minutes at most. Not cool.

That's why you edit the obscure 80's hair metal band pages. My friend changed someone's biography to that of Free Willy, and it stayed for just under a week.

I was bored one day and was browsing through some familiar cities in Minnesota and came upon the page for Farmington, Minnesota. Someone had added a bunch of shit how Farmington was full of druggies, losers, and dirty stinky mexicans as well as disparaging remarks about the public school system. It was up there for over a week.

I'm trying to slowly, slooooowly change Tony Danza's entry to be unrecognizable. So far all I've done is state his brakes were cut at some point, and RIngling Bros. celebrated live at his alst show.
