Now, I've never even considered taking money or anything important, private, or valuable from anything in the Lost & Found at work.

But for the hell of it, today, I looked at the little box we keep on top of the safe for the Lost & Found, and among the countless number of credit cards, library cards, school IDs, EBT (foodstamp) cards, and things of that nature, some WIC folders and vouchers, and two little wallets, there was. . .

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING.

So now I have something to put into that busted-ass GameBoy my dad found a few years ago other than Tetris II and my regret for getting rid of my old GameBoy games years ago.

Anyway, I've been waiting all day to get this home and kick it in. Whoever owned this before me is lame. Two files, one obviously was made but never played: UUUU and uuu. The first has 30 deaths and the fucker hasn't even gotten the Pegasus Boots.

Fucking newbis.

I remember having to start that whole game over a few times!

Once because I fucked myself over in Angler's Tunnel and made the last key impossible to get, once because I used the warp glitch to jump ahead to where I wasn't supposed to be before I had gotten the flippers and I fell into a cave full of water on the mountain and since I hadn't saved in an hour I made the mistake of saving my game before restarting which of course put me in an endless cycle of showing up at the cave entrance and falling into the pool of water, once because I fucked myself over in Eagle's Tower with the STUPID ball puzzle, another time in Eagle's Tower because I fucked up somehow and ended up trying to exit the place when the ladder leading to the entrance hadn't appeared (couldn't just jump down, couldn't go back in), and once because I robbed the store and didn't like everyone calling me "THIEF" all the time.

I think it's safe to say I'm never playing this game again.

I've only used the Lost and Found if I actually lost something. I've never taken anything that isn't mine. I'm a good boy.

Considering half of the things in this tiny box have been in there since at least 2006, I think it's safe to say nobody gives a shit anymore.

I'm sure this game belonged to some Mexican kid who wanted a DS but his mom said they couldn't afford it so she just pulled out the old 20 pound original GameBoy out of the garage.
