So I finally did a Wii system update and want to check out some 2-player WiiWare titles. I've never downloaded any of 'em (only downloaded Virtual Console classic game titles in the past), so do you guys have any suggestions for good ones?

Tetris Party is fun, but there's no option for non-competitive Tetris--that is, Tetris where you doing well doesn't fuck over the other person. It used to be the norm I think (back in the arcade) where one person would finish a level and the other person would have to catch up.
There are tons of other little games in there, but they're mostly gimmicks. Co-op Tetris is a mess and is usually no fun. The other games are interesting but ultimately boring.
World of Goo is co-op, right? Try that, I guess?

I heard World of Goo is good, but I read about it a while ago and wasn't that interested in it. Plus I think it's the most expensive title in the WiiWare library, which definitely puts me off. I might try the Tetris Party one though, cuz I always dig a good game o' Tetris. Thanks for the tip.

I'm positive Bomberman Blast has local multiplayer. WiFi Multiplayer is definately there. I'm shit at the game, but it's got all the classic Bomberman stuff with a fresh coat of paint and tons of options.

World of Goo is really great, don't let the price put you off because this really is a full sized game for only 20 bucks, 1/3 the price of a retail game.

I was gonna get that until I heard the WiFi had lag. How do you get lag in fucking Bomberman?

I didn't have much lag when I played, so I don't know what to tell ya.
But, there's a lot of players running around at once, so that might have something to do with it. But really, it's better with a bunch of friends playing together than online.
