I still haven't ordered any new stuff yet, and I don't know where my pickleman comic and shiny sticker are, so I made my own merch. :<

I'd like to do a whole Doc Mock line of figures, one from each film shown. Once I get a couple more done I'll send them into the show. Then I will be famous on internet TV!

I would punch babies for that action figure. :(

The Leader

Maybe after I send it in you could be a special guest and play with it but probably not. :(

Yeah Im nobody important to be on the show. :tear Ill just have to make my own.

If you want to know the parts I used, the figure was this version of Hawk: http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/gijoehawk.shtml
The hands and belt are from the live action movie Destro and the head was a Cobra blueshirt. There's a lot of modding that I did though, so maybe you should try a different recipe. :(

A slice of plastic from somewhere and superglue. I just sanded it down and filled in holes with the glue.

Nick, thanks for starting the thread. I was going to make one at some point myself, so I'm glad somebody else decided to get one going. Glad to see all your merchandise arrived aok. And who says I'll "pretend" to be your friend for cash? That's how I've made all my real friends. They pay me and I accept their friendship based on the terms that they'll continue to pay me. :picklehat

Fathom Zero, that sticker sure did make you happy... and animated! o.O

The Leader, holy crapballs, that is awesome hahah! You really capture the psycho Spidey from my 3 Dev Adam review perfectly. Adios Mafia! And YES, if you make those 3 Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum characters and send 'em my way, I'll see that they're not only showcased, but that they'll become a permanent decoration resting atop Doc Mock's table on every episode. As for a Count Pop one, I won't lie... that would be awesome too.

What kind of paint did you use?

:faint

What kind of paint did you use?
I dyed the figure blue by dissassembling it and sticking the pieces into a pot of boiling water with some rit dye. Then I painted it with Model Masters dunkel blau and Chevy Engine Red Lacquer. Then over that I used citadel miniatures paint, blood red and blue (Made by mixing rotting flesh, space wolves gray, and ultramarine blue). Over that I put a coat of Testors Dullcote to help keep the paint from flaking when the figure is played with. Then I used the citadel paints again and used chaos black on the belt, gloves, etc. For the face I used elf flesh(or something like that), skull white and a mixture of mythril silver and space wolves gray(for the eye shadow). The eyebrows are cotton painted with some kind of dark brown. I can't remember all of the games workshop paint names. It was probably something like "Orc Skidmark Brown" or "Ethnic flesh.":\

Or possibly even Scorched Brown.

Looks awesome by the way.

There should be a toy modding competition on here; I would totally do that.

No problem, brosef. Your next check is in the mail. Now I can start wearing my bff ring again.

Edit: My henching comic just came in the mail. I hope Protoclown makes a second issue. :)

Well, I received my I-mockery junk in the mail today, and I have to say that I am pretty damn impressed.

I thought it would all be rubbish! It's not!

Square Shoes & Black Fungus is great. Loved it. It put a rather large smile on my face right up until the point where I realised that I might have been supposed to get depressed. Nice art, nice words, nice ant sized drama, nice 2 page vomit spread. Good stuff, it is .......

I searched long and hard for some Wacky Space Googles™ to match my picklehat. Unfortunately Zipperhead (now called Crash Bang Boom) has a horrible online store and all decent websites have failed me. Curses!

Nick (and anybody else interested), I have some good news for you.

While they're no longer found in stores, my Wacky Space Goggles™ are readily available on eBay. You just gotta know what to look for. Sellers seem to list them under "cyber goggles" most of the time, so that's what I'd recommend searching for.

Here are a few auctions going on right now for the EXACT same pair that I have:

Yep. They were just called "goggles" when I bought 'em, but the sellers on eBay have tacked on all kinds of stupid names for 'em. Probably to attract the Hot Topic crowd. ;)

I still find myself doing miniatures a lot but you've kind of inspired to do a little bit bigger scale models. Ever since someone mentioned doing the Doc Moc figures, I've been getting a lot of ideas..

I would but I work on it off and on. I'll try to remember to start taking pictures as I work, though. Maybe make a thread about it when they're done.
