The whole thing about love is that most people are simply in love with the idea of being in love, and that's as far as it ever goes.

The pursuit of love is difficult, not carefree and romantic as you might believe, requires a lot of work and maintenance, results in a lot of annoyance, and frankly probably not at all worth the effort.

Of course, I've never been in love and I don't plan to ever be, but this is what I've observed.
