I'm selling my car, a 1991 Pontiac Sunbird Convertible. It's in fair condition, it runs fine though it needs a few repairs. And yeah, it does have a CD player in it too.

Thought I'd check here to see if anybody was interested in it before I go posting about it on some livejournal or newspapers. It's a solid car best for in-town driving. I wouldn't take it on a cross country trip or anything, but it's definitely aok for all your local needs.

No not that I know of. Not sure what kind of motor it has... I don't know shit about cars, but I'm sure it's not the turbo.

I can tell you things that would help sell the car if you tell me the first 11 digits of the VIN number (the last 6 digits is the serial number, I don't need that). Look through the lower left corner of the windsheild, it's stamped onto a metal tag.

Description: Though it's a well-designed small car, we can't recommend the Golf because its reliability has remained well below average. It handles nimbly and has a supple, quiet ride. The interior has a high-quality feel - unusual for this price class. The seats are firm and supportive, but the rear is cramped. The standard 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine is responsive but noisy and relatively thirsty. The sporty GTI model's 1.8-liter turbo and VR6 are punchy and smooth. The turbodiesel Golf TDI with a manual transmission averaged 41 mpg overall in our tests. Crash-test results are impressive. The new R32 is a high-performance AWD model with a V6.

The Voltswagon Golf is in the Consumer Report's Used Cars to Avoid list, for models years '96-03. It is a repeat offender, a category for cars with much-worse-than-average reliability for several years in a row.

actually they still make vw rabbits, except that they've changed the name from rabbit to GTI, which also comes with the powerful VR6 engine model. however i dont see the point of spending anything over 15,000 for a car.

i absolutely love compact cars. the zig-zagginess of small cars makes it so much fun to drive, i could care less for the speed. there are a lot of other cars to check out besides like the vw's, like the ford focus svt, mini cooper, honda civic si, subaru wrx, etc. out of all the choices, i'd go for the civic si for it's reliability, the focus svt for the fun of driving experience.
