Well, I'm Canadian so I don't really have a HUGE opinion, but here goes. I personally think that if Obama becomes president, some rascist jerk will do to him what happened to Martin Luther King, Jr. The idea of a white running mate as a veep makes it worse because they will have two valid reasons: #1 to remove the possibility of a black man becoming president, and #2: Being able to reinstate another corrupt white president after Obama is offed. Hopefully that's not what will happen though.

Meh.

Obama had his vetters go out and canvas the hoi polloi in the hopes of finding a VEEP who would bring him the most undecideds. Apparently, he needed to go with "experience" rather than "change" because most of the undecideds are afraid of too much change. In that respect, Biden is a good choice.

It makes me wonder if McCain will do the same thing with his choice - except that in his case he would need to canvas the far right, and may end up choosing someone of the same mind-set as James Dobson or John Ashcroft.

Why do people keep saying Obama's going to be killed like its preordained? Do you want him dead or something? Why are the only people talking about him being black as a negative his supposed supporters?

If it was that easy to kill a president, I think someone might have made a go at Bush. Just a thought.

I refer to Kennedy since he was killed for his ideals and his empathy.

I seriously hope nothing bad happens to Obama and that he does win the election. I can't wait to watch all these stupid peoples hope and dreams crushed and stomped on by a political whore.

Did I say that? Hmmm, reading back over my other posts, I don't see it.

Perhaps I just don't think we're such a horribly racist country as so many want us to be.

Perhaps I think the Secret Service is a top notch security detail that learns from past mistakes and cross trains with other agencies from around the world.

Or maybe I remember the incidents that went on during the Clinton years and have yet to see anything close to that in Obama's campaign.

I adore that people think Obama is the antichrist.
But it makes me wonder why the psycho christian division aren't excited about voting for him.
These are the people that want the world to end, so wouldn't voting for the antichrist be a big step in fufilling the prophecy. I mean the antichrist HAS to come into power for Jesus to come back, or at least that's how I understand it.

heh on coast to coast they said that obama was one of the three anti-christs name mobus. And Sadam hussein was another anti-christ. And president bush. or at least he speculated because the anti-christ that killed sudam husein's anti-christ was the one they were thinking could be bush oh but it's all just speculation don't forget the important thing is the key text.

I kind of agree with you about the anti-christ but I don't know maybe they don't like tying jesus' power to the anti-christ.

One just isn't enough. The others are back-up plans I guess.
Don't forget, the beast in Revelation has 7 heads. 3 down, 4 to go?
I've seen that "Mabus" thing too, the "ObamaBush" mush is the best they can come up with for that.
I particularly enjoy the cherry picking of the 3 sixes from his zipcode as "proof" of his evil lineage.
If they can prove his mother was a jackal, I'm so sold.
