A while back there was a project to do remixes of classic DooM tracks. It's titled The Dark Side of Phobos, and you can download all of the songs for free here

First off, it's easily some of the best music I've ever heard. Granted, the fact that I've literally been playing DooM almost all of my life (since I was five or so).
It's got a nice mix of metal, techno, and other various remixes. Check it out, it's worth the time.

I call bullshit! I have gone through the first 2 tracks and skipped to a random track and now I am asking you to pick a track for me to listen to that isn't crap :(

Differing interests, I suppose. But then, did you ever play DooM? That probably helps you enjoy it a lot more.

Yeah, I was playing the shareware before the game came out. Chaulk it up to difference in taste towards music.

Heh, I have the Collector's edition, almost creamed myself when I found it for sale at EB games a few years back. Always found it to be damned catchy.

I like this. It sounds a lot like KMFDM.

I liked the other remix projects better. Kong in Concert and Blood on the Asphalt are both great. Project Chaos is good too.
Hedgehog Heaven is the worst, though, stay the fuck away.

I think it was that horrible guitar solo that put me off on the 2nd track. I really like KMFDM, I guess I'll have to look further when my stomach settles.

The tracks on the album which I've bothered to rate in Media Player are Secrets and Lies and The Glass Moon, so they're probably pretty decent.
