Soooooo, Iron Maiden's original singer is coming on tour.
Since no one cares about what he's done since Iron Maiden, he will be performing the first 3 Iron Maiden albums.
I'm very curious to see how this will go.
I will be attending the show in Raleigh at Volume 11, any other metal mockers are welcome to join me to make fun of his band.

We will not be seeing this Dianno:

We're getting this guy:

His voice is too raspy these days, but i like him on Iron Maidens first 2 albums. He does the songs on those a lot better than Bruce.
Why would you go to his concert just to mock him?

Because I don't have to pay to get in, and his backing band is gay. I know them and they ruined one of Def Leppard's songs for me.
Paul was a great singer/frontman and I agree about his performance on Maiden's first albums. But you have no idea how much I dislike his band.

I guess I don't care about him after Maiden either. It would be cool if he did something good.

Well, nevermind.
His previous arrests are causing his tour to be "postponed".

He is supposed to play here at the end of the month, but I'm not holding my breath. If it does happen, I expect 3/4ths set of incredibly botched Maiden songs and 1/4th original material that no one gives a shit about.

I wish you luck on that!
You're doing better than I am on that front. Then again you get alot more good shows than I do.
Bigger acts rarely come through our area as is.

I got to see Maiden, Rush, Dream Theater and Queensryche last year, I can't complain.

See, none of them ever come around here.
I have to make due with whatever doesn't make me want to vomit.
